Cheers for Chocolate Festival to provide Triad area residents a family-oriented event featuring samples of chocolate from Triad area businesses & organizations; a “Cookie” and “Decadent Dessert” contest that anyone in the community may enter; a bake sale; silent auction; entertainment and a DJ emcee.
The Cheers for Chocolate Festival attracts chocoholics (that’s people who REALLY LOVE chocolate) from all over the area to help raise money for Christmas Cheer of Alamance County.

I have gone to this event the last two years and between the chocolate samples, chocolate dessert contest, chocolate bake sale, silent auction and entertainment, this was the best event for $5.00 or $10.00 depending on how much chocolate you want to sample.
Of course, because it raised funds for Christmas Cheer was just an added bonus. Many children receive Christmas gifts from Christmas Cheer that would not have gifts because of the financial position of their parents. Elderly also receive gifts and many would not have any Christmas without Christmas Cheer.
