Beginners are welcome! We will cover the use and versatility of what are called the four treasures, the Ink Stick, the Ink Stone, the Paper, and the Brush. Learn the basic brush strokes, which are based on Chinese calligraphy and are the foundation of Chinese Brush Painting. The symbols of Four Seasons as expressed through the classic subjects: The Plum Branch, Mountain Orchid, Bamboo, and the Chrysanthemum contain most of the strokes that the artist needs to master.
