This class is a fun, information-packed three days for artists who want to learn (or just keep working on) drawing the figure from a live model. All skill levels and styles are welcome, and artists will come away with a thorough understanding of how traditional methods can enhance their own styles. Topics will include how to create a dynamic gesture, using shadow shapes to create volume,… Show more the key anatomical landmarks and how to draw the figure from within, how to vary line quality and when to keep or lose edges. Artists will work in charcoal and conte on paper. Limited to 12 students.Â
