The Chapel Hill Spring Garden Tour will feature eight private gardens, the Scroggs Elementary School Student Garden, and the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Proceeds benefit the Botanical Garden and the service projects of the Chapel Hill Garden Club. Tickets: $25 in advance; $30 the day of the tour; children 16 and younger with adult get in free. The Chapel Hill Spring Garden Tour is having its ninth biennial tour. This event brings in 1500-1800 people from Chapel Hill/Carrboro and surrounding areas, and is a much anticipated highlight of the spring season. This year, in addition to the beautiful gardens on tour, ten local artists will be painting "plein-air" at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens, http://chapelhillgardentour.net/?page_id=617, terrific items will be raffled, and a painting will be entered into a drawing. The Carolina Inn and the Siena are offering special packages for out-of-town guests. Even Southern Living magazine plans to advertise the tour in its March issue. You don't want to miss!
