NC Opera will commemorate the bicentennial of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth with a production of his biggest operatic work, Aida, a sensational tale of war, romance, and intrigue that spans the gates of Thebes and the banks of the Nile. Aida bursts with all of the passion and conflict that make Verdi opera enduring crowd-pleasers. Starring Issachah Savage, Leann Sandel-Pantaleo, and international stage sensation Angela Brown.
