Momoyama brags a highly experienced sushi chef of over thirty years in the art who has worked in various restaurants in the area. On top of unsullied fish, the chef has personally designed a plethora of unique and intriguing rolls. If out of the list of over thirty rolls, not a single roll causes curiosity and/or craving, Chef Song will happily accept custom rolls.

At eye level, there's little to distinguish Momoyama from any number of other strip mall Japanese restaurants. It's a compact bento box of a space, with a six-seat sushi bar, a handful of tables and booths, and classic Japanese prints on pale mint green walls. At the front of the room, though, soaring clerestory windows and sleek modern pendant lights suspended from 12-foot ceilings hint at higher aspirations. (Full review)
