Two of North Carolina's best swing jazz bands, The New King Rippers and the Atomic Rhythm All-Stars, will rock in a battle of the bands while local dancers swing dance for charity at Motorco Music Hall in Durham.
The dance and silent auction benefit the UNICEF Tap Project, a local initiative to help provide clean
water and sanitation to children worldwide.
Free beginner dance lesson from 7 to 8 p.m., live music from 8 to 11:30 p.m. No dancer partner/experience necessary. Donations suggested.
