Robert Weiss, artistic director and CEO of Carolina Ballet has announced that the company will present Fancy Free/Carolina Jamboree in two locations this spring. Fancy Free, the first ballet choreographed by Jerome Robbins, took New York City by storm, propelled Robbins to a household name and led to a life of work on Broadway. Fancy Free was so popular that it became the basis for the movie, On The Town, with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly.
