James Joyce Irish Pub

The James Joyce was the first of a string of half a dozen Irish pubs to open in the Triangle in the last few years, and it's still packing the cozy bar and dining room in the face of the growing competition. The food is a mix of American and authentically interpreted British pub fare, and includes smoked Irish salmon, Gaelic chicken with bacon and whiskey cream, Irish beef stew served in a hollowed bread bowl, and a handful of sandwiches.
