Rex Healthcare Foundation’s mobile mammography unit, “The Coach,” will provide free mammograms to registered participants.
The Coach is named after the late Kay Yow, former head women’s basketball coach at NC State University. In December 2007, Yow founded the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The Coach provides an opportunity for early breast cancer detection and continues Kay Yow’s mission of assisting the underserved.
