Really really great sports bar with excellent food. This has become my favorite place to watch games and eat well. New ownership has turned this into a really enjoyable bar with friendly service and surprisingly awesome food. LOVE THIS PLACE!

When I find a place that I truly enjoy, I must pass the word.

I went to the garner ale house for the first time early January. I have been back three times since. Their food is great. I have not had anything that I slightly disliked. The first time I went, I had the crispy chicken salad. Let’s just say it was an endless bowl of fresh crisp salad with melt in your mouth chicken. Oh, and the ranch dressing is nothing you can get out of a bottle. It was the best ranch I have ever had. The next time I went was for lunch. They had a pork and bean special going that day so I decided to try it. OMG they need to add it to their menu!! It was so good. Just like mama’s home cooking for sure. I have also had their bbq ribs which literally melted in my mouth. If I didn’t have somewhere to be, I would have ordered another full rack.

I would suggest this place to anyone..

This is a restaurant to put on your avoid list! The food was awful-ordered ribs and wings since that is "our specialty." The beer was over priced, very rude service. The non-smoking section is a joke. You still leave smelling like smoke due to poor ventilation. Not good for someone with allergies. Forget mixed drinks too the pina colada tasted like an aluminum can. Thanks for buying the cheap mix and not putting any alcohol or juice in it. Waste of money and time.

Definitely do not recommend this place!
