Baltimore-based friends and lovers, all in their 20s and 30s, try to navigate their way through the complexities of modern relationships. Beth (Jennifer Aniston) wants commitment from Neil (Ben Affleck), who sees nothing wrong with the status quo. Gigi (Ginnifer Goodwin) is tired of waiting by the phone, while Mary (Drew Barrymore) has a slew of supportive male friends, none of whom are straight. Meanwhile, Janine has trust issues with her husband, who can't trust himself around Anna.

"He's Just Not That Into You" isn't exactly a romantic comedy -- at least, not in the most traditional sense. Yes, the characters work themselves into the same sorts of tizzies over falling in and out of love -- or finding love in the first place -- but mixed in with the fizziness is an unexpected seriousness, an attempt at injecting realism and even failure.
