Join the NC Wind Orchestra for an evening of music inspired by the life, times and works of William Shakespeare, featuring works by Prokoffiev, Susato, Woolfenden and Kellogg.

He gave the world "much ado about nothing"…and boy was that a lot! From his mischievous Puck to those star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare is the most famous playwright of all time. The NCWO celebrates the genius of "The Bard" in this exciting concert. Michael Votta conducts Pyramus and Thisbe, a work inspired by Shakespeare's writings. With narration by Chapel Hill and Greensboro actor, Jeffery West, it features music by acclaimed American composer Daniel Kellogg and a libretto by Tony winner Mark O'Donnell. The concert also features the talented conductor, Kevin Giraldi and music by Prokoffiev, Susato and Woolfenden. As Shakespeare would say, "all the world's a stage"--so don't miss this very special experience!
