Dog walk supporting the Wake County Animal Center. $5 rabies shots and $10 microchipping plus a raffle, contests, demos and lots of vendors and rescue groups. Join the fun!
utt Strutt, the sixth annual dog walk supporting the Wake County Animal Center, will be taking place from 9 a.m. until noon on September 6th at Historic Oakview Park in Raleigh. Mutt Strutt is the Wake County Animal Center’s annual fundraiser. This year, proceeds will go toward supporting their foster program.
This event will provide fun for people and dogs alike. Admission is free. There will be a raffle for prizes, including hundreds of dollars in gift certificates to local restaurants, businesses, and sporting events. There will be dozens of exhibits and vendors, a kid area, and exciting dog contests and demos for agility, flyball and musical freestyle. There will be dogs available for adoption from the Center and local rescue groups. And, of course, there will be a one-mile dog walking path that you can stroll at your own pace.
