With the large scale success of his 'ISolated INcident - Global Thermo Comedy Tour', which was attended by over 400,000 people this spring, coupled with the success of his Comedy Central special and comedy album 'ISolated INcident', Dane Cook has now announced plans for Phase Two of his worldwide tour.
"I'm really looking forward to playing many different areas of the country where I have never been before and I'm excited to perform for my fans who have supported me throughout the years, but who have never had a chance to see me live," said Cook.
Named a "comedian phenom and icon" by Entertainment Weekly, Dane Cook has maintained his reputation as one of today's most prolific stand-up comedians while simultaneously distinguishing himself as a charismatic and versatile actor in a variety of film and television projects.
Cook has starred in a number of feature films, including Lionsgate's Employee of the Month, Touchstone's Dan in Real Life (with Steve Carell), Lionsgate's romantic comedy, Good Luck Chuck (with Jessica Alba), and MGM's thriller, Mr. Brooks (with Kevin Costner, Demi Moore and William Hurt).
Among his many honors as a stand-up comedian, Cook was named Rolling Stone Magazine's "Hot Comic," Stuff Magazine's "Coolest Comic of the Year," and the winner of Comedy Central's Standup Showdown. His arrival on the cultural stage was confirmed when Time Magazine listed him as one of the world's 100 "Most Influential People."

Woody Allen once opined that 90 percent of life is just showing up, which is certainly true as far as it goes. But how far you'll go comes down to that last 10 percent, which largely consists of moxie, self-confidence and nerve. All of which Dane Cook has in spades.
Cook just knows he's gonna make you laugh; and if he doesn't, well, that's your problem. Which is why he's headlining arenas and you're not. Love him or hate him (he's got legions of fans as well as detractors), he's huger than huge right now.
We caught up with Cook for a chat to preview his Sunday performance at Raleigh's RBC Center. (Full review)
