Josh Howard, Research Historian in the Office of Archives and History, will speak about Wake County’s Participation in the Revolutionary War from 1775-1783 at the Joel Lane Museum House on Thursday evening, November 12th at 7:00 p.m. He will focus on the differences between militia, state troops and Continentals and will focus on Wake County. Admission is $15 for the general public and $10 for members of the Joel Lane Historical Society. Reservations are required – call 919/833-3431 now!
