A southern gentleman who was raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Daran got his start in comedy while studying theatre in North Carolina. As he worked as a bartender, in a comedy club, he observed comedians, and was convinced that comedy was what he was born to do. Daran was inspired by comedians such as Richard Pryor, Jerry Seinfeld, & D.L. Hughley. He moved to Chicago and began hosting various comedy shows.

Daran continues to keep audiences in stitches as he does stand up nationwide and abroad. He currently resides in Los Angeles, and he is beginning to focus more on television and film projects.
