News & Observer food critic Greg Cox says: This little strip center gem isn't the first area restaurant to specialize in the lesser-known foods of southern India, but it's the best. In fact, it's the best of all the Triangle's dozen Indian eateries, regardless of specialty. If you've never sampled idli (delicate rice and lentil cakes served with coconut chutney and a soupy soaking broth called sambar), or masala dosa (an oversized crepe of rice and lentil flours, filled with a savory melange of potatoes and peas), here's the place to try them. And if you're in the mood for curry or other more familiar Indian fare, you won't find better elsewhere.
