Decorated on a shoestring budget with photographs of ancient Middle Eastern ruins, this mom and pop eatery gets most of its charm from the presence of owners Debbie Khoury, who greets customers, and her husband, Victor, who does the cooking. The menu is a multicultural mishmash, with selection ranging from burgers to jambalaya to pasta primavera. Best by far, though, are the foods of Victor Khoury's native Jordan: falafel, shawarma, savory pita pies and a deli case full of stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tabbouleh and other Middle Eastern specialties.
