The 3rd Annual Run For Our Heroes 5k walk/run will take place in downtown Raleigh on April 30, 2011. There will also be a 100 yard race for kids- “McGruff, the Crime Dog” kids dash. This event is held to honor the eight Raleigh Police Officers that have died in the line of duty. All proceeds benefit the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation.
