Capacity:    2-3 representatives per LEA or Charter School .  [Each LEA or Charter School has 2 Summer Institute representatives; 1 additional team member can attend along with thier representative].
Description:     Participants will examine observation strategies for Teachers, Media Coordinators and Technology Facilitators based on the North Carolina Educator Evaluation System.  During the workshop, participants will align these strategies to the NCEES, with specific focus upon IV-D (knowledge of appropriate use of technology to mazimize student learning; helping students use technology to learn content, think critically, solve problems, discern reliability, etc.).  Participants will also receive an overview of TPACK, a model for the integration of pedagogical, content and technology knowledge into classroom practices.  (This session will end by transitioning to Digital Literacy training and the ethical digital citizen.)
