City Ballet's 20th anniversary performance of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker features over 100 children dancing alongside guest artists from Carolina Ballet. The 90-minute performance is beautifully choreographed and lavishly costumed with a few surprises (snow falling, a magical tree growing). The venue is intimate and family-friendly, which makes it easy to bring small children to enjoy this holiday staple.
