Benjamin’s wax pencil drawings of circuses, carnivals, and travels inspire a sense of curiosity and wonder and evoke the mood of antique photographs. The artist states, “They comprise a kind of modern mythology in which we still find it possible to discover heroes and behold uncommon acts.”
