Swift Creek’s name pays homage to the origins of the band, formed four years ago in Central NC. Their highly original songs feature a strong progressive bluegrass influence, a touch of folk and a healthy dose of country rock. Intricate three-part vocal harmonies are supported by driving guitars and bass, punctuated with riveting mandolin and dobro solos. Swift Creek’s debut CD “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” was produced at The Rubber Room in Chapel Hill, NC and released in August 2012.
