The Pit's 5th Annual 'Cuegrass Festival returns to downtown Raleigh with great 'cue, local brews and bluegrass music! We'll be serving our famous Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue and a selection of locally made beers. On the stage we'll have some of our favorite bands: The Moore Brothers, Justin Robinson & The Mary Annettes, Tonk & Jupiter Coyote. We’ll also have a special guest from the N.C. Opera, Hailey Clark. All proceeds go to the Junior League of Raleigh's BackPack Buddies program.

My family and I like going down to this annual event, but there was something missing this year.. BLUEGRASS! Atmosphere was great and the food was tremendous, the music was questionable. The Moore Brothers were great as they were classic bluegrass but the rest of the bands were not really in the spirit of the event. Please go back with featuring various bluegrass groups instead of more contemporary sounds.
