Lots of folks know of the Third Place as one of the area's premier coffee shops, where the perfect companion for a skinny latte is one of those luscious pastries brought in from Francesca's in Durham. Vegetarians also know it's a good spot for a salad (hummus, tabouli, spinach and sprouts) or a sandwich (baked cheese and tomato, peanut butter and honey, the "grass" sandwich with spinach, cucumber and sprouts, and the "plethora" with practically everything on the menu piled between a couple of slices of whole wheat bread.
