In a market that's increasingly endowed with topnotch steakhouses, Sullivan's earns its place with steaks, ranging from an 8-ounce filet mignon to a 20-ounce house specialty Kansas City strip to a whopping 24-ounce porterhouse, that are as tender and juicy as any, and consistently cooked within a shade of the ordered temperature. It doesn't hurt, either, to boast a well-trained wait staff, one of the area's top wine lists and a dressy masculine decor of mahogany paneling, frosted glass and sculpted bronze that's suitable for celebrations - which you can top off in the bar with a single malt scotch and a cigar.
