This national steakhouse chain is a decidedly upscale operation, featuring a clubby decor of cut glass and dark wood, excellent wine and cigar selections, a well-trained wait staff, and - last but not least - prime steaks, seared at 1800 degrees in a custom-designed broiler, that rate among the best in the Triangle. Appetizers and desserts often don't measure up to the restaurant's steep prices. But most people are here for the steaks, anyway. Everything else is just gravy.
