Venue Review: Los Tres Magueyes

Greg Cox reviews Los Tres Magueyes
By Greg Cox, The News & Observer
One of the original "combo plate" Mexican eateries in the Triangle, Los Tres Magueyes has a reputation for serving food that's a notch better than its cookie-cutter competition. Of course, you could always opt (as many do) for one of the dozens of taco-enchilada-chile relleno combination plates, but why not be a little adventurous? Try carnitas, little nuggets of pork fried in their own fat, or carne asada, or chicken breast in a dark, richly complex mole ranchero sauce. They won't let you down.
