We eat at Bombay Kitchen on a weekly basis and have had the complete opposite experience as another reviewer.
The lamb is always available and fresh, the chef will actually cook to the customer's individual tastes and often surprises us with some variations on a dish. Our rice is always hot and the naan bread and vegetable Pakora are better than we have had at other local Indian restaurants. I have tried every chicken dish and have found them all satisfactory. My husband always eats the lamb and out friend loves the Chicken Tikka.
The owners are very courteous and share there stories of living in India, the chef often comes out to our table to ask about the meal. We always order off the menu and once had the buffet for a Christmas party we booked, everything was delicious.
The main drawback is the "strip mall" decor and lack of staffing on weekdays. However, we have noticed more and more tables are filling on the off nights, like a Monday or Tuesday.
It is true there are quirks, some nights better than others. But like most mom and pop restaurants, Bombay kitchen can grow on the patron and it is not hard to become a regular when you are treated special.
